Does anybody know of some good flexibility stretches i can do to get better at kicks and get my ground work up to scratch.

And does anybody know any thing i can do to get my balance better in a fight, its an issue iv always had issues with

The gentle art, isnt very gentle

Yoga can be very good for improving your flexibility and balance.

Eddie Bravo's books contain stretching exercises along with some of the best ground techniques available in print.

My favourite stretch is the easiest. Lay on your back with your butt against the wall. Now put your legs up on the wall and just let them rest there. Do it while watching TV. After half an hour you will notice that you have received an incredible stretch. It's gradual so it doesn't hurt or damage anything.
