This technique is used against an upper-cut punch.
As your attacker throws the punch, step forward on your left foot and block the strike with a left handed downward block.
Strike with a right handed palm heel to your attackers right shoulder.
Pull your attackers right shoulder down and take your left hand under their right arm. As you do this you should twist clockwise on the ball of your left foot and take your right foot to the side so you are stood sideways on to your attacker.

Now put your left hand on top of your right hand. Your attackers arm should now be resting on your left shoulder.
You can now finish with a knee strike from this stable position.
